Junior Supply Chain Systems Engineer
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Parkside Recruitment are looking for a Junior Supply Chain Systems Engineer.

The role involves assisting in logistics operations and systems, including supporting the implementation and maintenance of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and using 3D modelling software.

The ideal candidate will be based in the UK, with the ability to travel to client sites using their own transport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing and optimizing logistics operations and systems.
  • Support with the implementation and management of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Use 3D modeling software to visualize and enhance logistics processes.
  • Travel to various client sites, often located in areas not easily accessible by public transport.
Key Requirements:
  1. WMS Experience: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Manhattan or other platforms. Please specify which WMS you have used.
  2. 3D Modeling Experience: Proficiency in 3D modeling software like Sketchup, Class, Blender, or Emulate 3D.
  3. Driving License: A clean driving license and your own transport (car) are mandatory. The role involves traveling to different client sites, and fuel expenses will be reimbursed based on corporate mileage rates.
  4. SQL / Python: Experience with SQL and/or Python is desirable but not mandatory.
  5. Language Skills: Additional language skills such as German, Dutch, or Japanese would be a bonus.
Location:
Ideal candidates should be located within a commutable distance of the following areas:
  • West Sussex
  • Surrey
  • South East England
  • East Midlands
Applicants must have the ability to drive and own a car for site visits, as many client locations are not accessible by public transport.
